St. Columbkille Parish School

St. Columbkille Parish School strives to integrate religious truths and values with knowledge and skills in order to provide a quality education for all students. This vision motivates students to grow academically, physically, culturally and socially. Among the values prized in our Catholic School are self-worth, self discipline in the search for a moral way of life, and appreciation for our American heritage. With deep concern for their brothers and sisters, young people in Catholic Schools may be guided to form their personal response in truth, peace, justice and love.

PSR

The Saint Columbkille Parish School of Religion (PSR) is a Catholic Religious Education Program for children in grades 1-8 who attend public or independent private schools. It is a privilege and the purpose of Saint Columbkille PSR to assist parents and guardians in the ongoing effort of preparing their children for roles as Catholic Christians in today’s society. A variety of programs are available, both in and out of the classroom, providing faith formation, prayer, service opportunities, family faith activities, and spiritual experiences for the children.  

SPARK: Children's Liturgy of the Word

We will begin on Sunday, September 11! All children 4 – 8 years old are invited to attend SPARK- Children’s Liturgy of the Word every Sunday during the 10:00 AM Mass. There is no fee, sign-up or registration! Every Sunday during the 10:00 Mass, the priest celebrant invites the children to gather in front of the altar. The children, guided by a SPARK leader, process to the church basement. Once assembled in the basement, the SPARK leader proclaims the readings of the day to the children in a way they can more easily understand. The children re-join their families in church at the beginning of the offertory. Children’s Liturgy of the Word is a great opportunity for the children of our parish to attend Mass with their families while, at the same time, hear the Word of God explained in an age-appropriate way. IGNITE: Youth Group

St. Columbkille youth group has been a fixture in our parish going on 20 years. It has a rich tradition of empowering young people in the faith and service works of our community. We would love you to be part of that tradition by inviting all students in grades 7-12 to participate. You do not have to be a parishioner of St. Columbkille to attend nor do you have to be Catholic. We generally meet on Tuesday during the school year from 6:00 - 8:00 PM in the Annex (Youth House).


CATCHING FIRE: Young Adult

We are a family of passionate Catholic individuals looking to create spiritual warriors in this secular world. We are driven to enflame and empower the young adult community in the Diocese of Cleveland to better serve the rest of the world.  Join us each week on Suday at 7 PM!

Small Groups

Connecting with a small life-sharing group of friends about faith matters is an amazing way to really immerse yourself in your faith with the personal attention, encouragement, prayerful support, and accountability you need for sustained spiritual growth.
