The Saint Columbkille fifty-plus club offers parishioners, 50 years young and beyond, the opportunities to gather for social and spiritual activities, to develop friendships, and to foster the spirit of a parish family. Luncheon meetings are planned twice a month with guest speakers and a Liturgy offered twice a year. Social activities include Bingo, card playing, a picnic in July, a Christmas party, and numerous trips scheduled throughout the year. Annual dues are five dollars.
The primary purpose of the Holy Name Society is to support the welfare of the parish and to promote the Holy Name of Jesus Christ. The Society holds numerous social activates throughout the year along with monthly liturgical observances to support personal development and spiritual growth. Membership is open to all men in the parish.
The Blessed Mother is the Patroness of the Ladies’ Guild of Saint Columbkille parish.
The objectives of the Ladies’ Guild are as follows:
The Ladies’ Guild encourages friendship, a wonderful benefit, which comes automatically when you are a part of the organization. The Ladies’ Guild meets monthly from September through May and has numerous activities and fundraisers during the year to support Saint Columbkille Church. We invite ALL LADIES OF THE PARISH to join us and experience this wonderful and rewarding fellowship.
All Men of the Parish are invited to attend an evening of prayer and fellowship on the first and third Tuesday nights of every month, starting at 7:15 pm. We're all striving to become better Catholics, husbands, fathers and citizens while facing challenges in today's world. Our hope is to increase our knowledge of faith and grow spiritually. Meetings are held in the rectory basement. If you have any questions, please contact Ron Snyder at (216) 398-7141 cell.
