Fr. O'Connor |
Reverend Neil D. O'Connor - Pastor
Father O'Connor was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and is the oldest of seven children.
He attended schools in and around the Cleveland area. He entered Borromeo College of Ohio,
and graduated with a B.A., majoring in English. He then entered Saint Mary Seminary for
graduate school in Theology. He received a S.T.B. from the Catholic University of America.
He was ordained to the Roman Catholic priesthood in 1969, and was first assigned to Assumption
of Mary Parish in Brook Park, Ohio, as an associate pastor. He served there until he was assigned
to Cleveland Central Catholic High School as Chaplain. Father O'Connor was also appointed as
the Chaplain of the Carmelite Sisters in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
In 1980, he received a M.A. from
John Carroll University in Cleveland Heights, and was appointed as principal of Cleveland Central
Catholic High School, where he served until his appointment in 1992, as the fourth and current
pastor of Saint Columbkille Parish in Parma, Ohio.

Fr. Janoch |
Reverend Edward J. Janoch - Parochial Vicar
Father Janoch (of Bohemian and Hungarian heritage) grew up in Mentor, Ohio and attended
Saint Mary of the Assumption Parish and School. After graduating from Saint Mary, he attended
Lake Catholic High School, Bowling Green State University (receiving a B.S. in Education
degree) and the University of Dayton (receiving an M.S. in Education degree). Prior to entering
Saint Mary Seminary in the fall of 1995, Father Janoch worked as a Financial Aid Assistant
at the University of Dayton (1986-1990) and Assistant Director of Financial Aid at Lakeland
Community College (1990-1995).
His parish experiences as a seminarian have been at
Saint Malachi in Cleveland, Holy Cross in Euclid, Saint Anthony of Padua in Fairport
Harbor, and Holy Martyrs in Medina. He was ordained a priest on May 20, 2000 and assigned
to the Church of Saint Clare in Lyndhurst. Having completed his first assignment, Father
Janoch is excited and happy to continue priestly ministry here at Saint Columbkille Parish.

Fr. Previte |
Reverend Joseph Previte - Parochial Vicar
Father Previte’s home parish is Holy Redeemer Church in Cleveland. He attended Holy Redeemer School
and Saint Joseph High School. He received a BSBA degree in accountancy from John Carroll University and
a MS degree in accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a certified public
accountant, licensed in the state of Ohio, and specialized in individual international taxation prior to
entering the seminary.
Father Previte was ordained for the priesthood in the Diocese of Cleveland on
May 12, 2007. He was assigned as Parochial Vicar to Saint Columbkille Church effective June 5, 2007.

Fr. Browne |
Reverend William E. Browne - Parochial Vicar
Father Browne grew up in Coventry Township (south of Akron) and attended Saint Francis de Sales School.
His family are charter members of Saint Francis de Sales Church. He graduated from Kent State University
in 1969 and married. He owned and operated a boat business in Akron. He has four daughters, sons-in-laws,
and 13 grandchildren. After becoming widowed in 1995, he began a long, but grace-filled path to the
priesthood.
Father Browne was ordained on May 15, 2004, and was first assigned to Saint Mary
Church in Painesville, Ohio. He has a personal devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and to Saint John Vianney,
the patron saint of parish priests. Father Browne loves his family, fishing, the outdoors, and sports.
He very much looks forward to meeting and ministering to the many wonderful people of
Saint Columbkille Parish.
